February 7, 2017 - Event Recap
If our most recent City Living Starts Here event (hosted Saturday, January 28th in Windsor Hills) is any indication, the Baltimore City housing market looks primed to continue its strong 2016 showing.
More than 200 people pre-registered for our event, packing Windsor Hills Elementary/Middle School and learning the “do”s and “don’t”s of home buying from expert lenders, Realtors, and community representatives!
What did our guests think of the event? Eager-to-learn homebuyers at every stage of the process gave us their take on how City Living Starts Here is helping them.
Terry, a 2nd time homebuyer, saw the event as a way to get acquainted with a new neighborhood.
“These events are a great way to familiarize yourself with parts of Baltimore you may not know about,” she said. “I’m looking forward to touring the area!”
Sara and Tommy were on the lookout for expert tips and additional assistance they may not have heard of.
“We’ve had in-office consultations at Live Baltimore and we’re seeing what’s out there, exploring. The incentives these events provide are a great reason to get out here and learn something,” they shared.
Gayle, an incentive event veteran (she was even a narrator on a neighborhood tour years ago!), already has her eyes on a home.
She said, “I’m here to qualify for the incentive! The great attendance today shows just how helpful the information here really is.”
The buzz in the room continued along walking tours through Windsor Hills’ park-like environment, featuring winding, tree-lined streets and well-spaced homes. Tour-goers saw the spacious Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park, a wide variety of home styles, and even visited the highest point in the neighborhood—once home to a tree tall enough to serve as a siting point for ships sailing up the Chesapeake Bay!
Our next homebuying incentive event is March 25. Mark your calendars! We hope to see you there.
