Share your love of Charm City by becoming a Live Baltimore volunteer
Live Baltimore volunteers impact the well-being of our city. By investing time in supporting our programs, you can help our work to grow Baltimore’s economy by attracting residents, retaining residents, and supporting healthy housing markets.
Our five Core Values are at the heart of everything we do and drive our team’s success. If you share these values, we’d love to meet you.
- Love Baltimore. We love Baltimore to our cores.
- Stay Positive. We celebrate our wins big and small.
- Be Helpful. We model humility and service.
- Get Results. We are nothing if not effective.
- Collaborate. We accomplish more together.
Events are always well organized with clear day-of expectations for volunteers. Of all the volunteer-driven events I’ve run and/or participated in—Live Baltimore events are consistently at the top of my volunteer experiences.”

Volunteers are essential to Live Baltimore’s work.
Each year, Live Baltimore provides thousands of individuals with information on the city’s 250+ neighborhoods, rental living options, homebuying incentive programs, historic tax credits, and more.
In FY25, Live Baltimore served 2,760 attendees at homebuying events. Live Baltimore customers purchased 1,280 homes in 210 neighborhoods, resulting in $355.3M in home purchases—representing 17% of the City’s market activity—and generating $15.2M in City tax revenue.
If you’re a “people person” who loves Baltimore City, you’re invited to volunteer at our in-person events. No experience necessary! Just fill out and submit the form below.
Would you ask a New Yorker about living in L.A? (We didn’t think so.) When it comes to Baltimore, Baltimoreans know best!
Live Baltimore’s Neighborhood Ambassadors are involved in their communities and love to talk about neighborhood happenings. Share an insider’s view of your city neighborhood as a virtual volunteer, answering questions from prospective residents via email.
