Baltimore City Photo Contest

Live Baltimore wants to feature your photos in our 2024 calendar celebrating city life!

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Live Baltimore works citywide to grow Baltimore’s economy by attracting residents, retaining residents, and supporting healthy housing markets. We also love celebrating this city in all its iconic charm, history, and heritage—and we’re asking for your help!

Do you have a great snapshot of your community in Baltimore City that you’d like to share? We’re looking for photos that capture the true beauty of the city, no matter what time of day or season it is. If you submit your photo, it may be featured in Live Baltimore’s 2024 calendar. Twelve winners (one per month) will be selected to have their photos featured, and we may also include honorable mentions throughout the calendar as space allows. Whether you captured the image on your smartphone or with an SLR, we want to see your best shot!

These calendars will be provided to donors, and raised funds will go towards supporting Live Baltimore’s mission. Everyone is encouraged to submit to this voluntary, unpaid call for entry.

• Get recognition among other Baltimore City creatives and bragging rights among friends and family.
• Show off your wonderful neighborhood, favorite hangout spots, local businesses, favorite home styles, and more.

Here are the guidelines:

• Submitters must be 18 years or older. If under the age of 18, please have a legal guardian submit on your behalf.
• An individual can submit up to three photos for consideration.
• Photos must be high-resolution and a minimum of 7″ wide by 10″ tall at 300 dpi (we’ll let you know if the size works).
• All photos MUST be within the Baltimore City limits.
• A signed photo release statement must accompany photos featuring adults 18 and older. No photos of minors under the age of 18.

Project Timeline:

• Submissions accepted through October 14, 2023, at 11:59 p.m.
• Finalists will be notified by October 21, 2023.
• The calendars will be mailed out by December 15, 2023.
