What I love most about my child's school
The teachers at Barclay are talented and devoted to their students. They contribute to a very positive, high-energy atmosphere at the school. The principal has a strong vision for training teachers and leveraging community partnerships (including with Johns Hopkins University) in order to make the school into a magnet Science, Technology, Engineering and Math with Arts Integration (STEAM) school.
To another parent considering this school
Barclay is a wonderful school with a lot of potential. If you want a solid education for your child, supportive teachers, and (if you live in Charles Village) the benefit of walking to school, I recommend giving it a closer look. Please feel free to contact me if you'd like to hear more about our family's experience there.
