What brought you to Baltimore?

I was born here, right here in East Rosemont.

What do you love most about this neighborhood?

This neighborhood is home to one of Baltimore's best pizza restaurants, Frank's Pizza & Pasta, located in the Overlea Plaza - or as I call it, East Rosemont Plaza. While the restaurant may claim to be in Overlea, it is part of East Rosemont. Strengthening the community association could help build better relationships with local businesses. Burdick Park is a wonderful green space in the neighborhood. Over the years, the park has undergone various improvements, including the recent addition of a dog park, new tree plantings, and bench repairs. Visitors can enjoy the walking path, multi-use field, swing set, tennis courts, and dog park. The park provides an excellent venue for community events. East Rosemont is also home to Cityline, a nice bar and grill with outdoor seating and live entertainment. After a late night out, residents can head to the Overlea (East Rosemont) Diner for a delicious breakfast or brunch.

What would you tell someone considering this neighborhood?

This neighborhood has evolved over the years. Once an older community, many long-time residents have since moved on. However, an influx of new families has breathed new life into the community association, which is now working to revitalize the area. While this community may be overshadowed by larger neighborhoods, it is home to several hidden gems. The Rosemont Community Association is currently undergoing a revitalization, and residents are encouraged to get involved and help shape the future of this evolving area.
