What brought you to Baltimore?

After visiting Baltimore for many years, I moved into my very first apartment in Baltimore City's Mt. Vernon neighborhood when I was 24 years old. I absolutely loved the architecture and feel of my tiny studio and neighborhood. I met so many amazing people in my building that I am still friends with 20 years later. From there I moved to Charles Village, and eventually purchased my home in Beverly Hills. Baltimore is a wonderful city to live in and be a part of.

What do you love most about this neighborhood?

Beverly Hills is special. It's a secluded pocket located next to beautiful Herring Run park. You still have easy access to all of the major highways and downtown Baltimore City within 15 minutes. BWI is 25 minutes away! All of the neighbors know each other, and frequently hang out. It's a true community.

What would you tell someone considering this neighborhood?

If you're looking for a safe, quiet neighborhood with a suburban feel while still remaining in the city; Beverly Hills is the one to look at. Homes here sell FAST for a reason! It's incredibly diverse - children ride their bikes in the streets - it's that calm. Families from all walks of life call this neighborhood home, and rarely move because it's such a great place to be. It's easy to forget you still live in the city over here. Nature abounds with deer, raccoon, foxes, and opossums! We have large, mature trees and yards. Everyone looks out for one another! We have wonderful places to walk to for dining, as well as regular community events. The actual location cannot be beat, you can easily access so many other parts of the city quickly and easily. It's incredibly dog and kid friendly as well. My husband and I love it here, and you will too!
